We used to have a 1994 Mazda Protoge similar to the one being crushed by the monster truck. That car was one of the most reliable cars we’ve ever had. It just kept on going and going. We finally got rid of it in 2008 and got a Pacifica just because we wanted a larger car with all the safety features.
Ditto. This old-fashioned “anti-import” vibe is sickening to see, particularly since the Mazda Protege (like all the “sacrificed” imports in the past) was leagues better than anything Chrysler ever put out in the 90’s – Sporty, efficient, reliable. Chrysler, move on. Have a brand vision and use it, or just fold up the tent.
